I've heard this problem is caused by high serotonin, low dopamine and sometimes other hormones thanks to celexa related to the HT receptor - 5-ht2c caused by Celexa. Is this your understanding? What are some other herbs or supplements etc,, you'd recommend. I'm also interested to know in what you believe causes this problem.
Symptoms - sensitivity reduced, requires mental stimulation to get erect a lot but visual is getting better and I am still horny with no emotion anhedonia. Erectile dysfunction and can quite often happen if im interrupted or anxiety goes up. Sexual anorgasmia. My quickest orgasm from jerking off has been 14 minutes. The worst is the numb orgasm. Can all these be addressed through dopamin, lower serotonin and Ht2C antagonists and the supplements above? Or is there a whole different theory that helps. Thanks for your input!
It's extremely complicated.
5-HT, the acronym for Serotonin, is suppressive on Erection, generally, but activating 5-HT2C serotonin receptors seems to cause Erection; in Rodents and Humans. It's probably this pathway by which Ecstasy causes an Aphrodisiac effect, and the related 5-HT2C-induced Oxytocin release seems to cause pro-social and erectogenic effects, here. It's also evident as 5-HT2C agonists on the market, such as Lorcaserin (Belviq; for weight loss drug) and Trazodone; a medicine for Insomnia and Depression; cause Priapism infrequently as a ''side-effect''.

Therefore, there can be a binary effect, and if your deficit is Sex drive primarily, than blockade of 5-HT2C may be warranted.
We usually recommend that a general reduction in Serotonin tone achieves this effect without being ''biased'' (as in blocking a single receptor only, versus many). That being said, there are many more anti-serotonin compounds readily available to consumers nowadays, you can view a User named
Haidut, he is a seller of such substances. These chemicals, like Ritanserin and Metergoline, can be tried, both Orally or Topically, or Sublingually, if the methods I've mentioned happened not to benefit you, Wheatylos.
